This particular retreat is intentionally designed for FLINTA creatives—a space to nurture and uplift feminine energy, fostering an environment of support, inspiration, and shared artistic growth.
YOUR HOSTS:
I’m Katch! I’ve been shooting professionally for 15 years, and making art since I was a wee-bit bebe. I’m autistic, queer, and a weirdo.
I hope to create a space for your creative inner child to come out to play! I aim to approach my artistic expression with beginner's mind every day. I find this is the best way for me to shoot work that is meaningful and therapeutic.
I feel so grateful to have the privilege of working with fellow creatives. We can all learn from each other!
Hi, I’m Shannon! I fell in love with photography as a kid, turning family gatherings into photo shoots and making “magazines” with my sister and cousins. That early passion grew into a career rooted in creativity and self-expression.
I’m drawn to the mysterious and emotional, pushing the limits of film to explore identity and the human experience, and embracing the beauty of imperfection. I hope this workshop inspires you to embrace your story and create something magical with us!

what’s the cost?
$2,000. 50% due at booking, 50% due on April 1
what’s included?
3 nights in an airbnb in the CA desert.
All meals catered (dinner the 1st day, breakfast, lunch & dinner the 2nd/3rd days, breakfast the last day, snacks, coffee, etc)

what’s not included?
Transportation to and from the retreat.
You can borrow our Polaroid, but other than that you are responsible for providing your own film and cameras.
how many people?
We are accepting no more than 6 attendees.
FLINTA ONLY?
Yes! We’ve designed this retreat specifically as a space to nurture and uplift feminine energy, fostering an environment of support, inspiration, and shared artistic growth. We want you to feel comfortable and open to express yourself freely in your art.
FILM ONLY?
While everything we shoot will be on film, you can apply what we share to digital.
where will we stay?
We have a lovely airbnb for us to enjoy together. You will have your own bed, but may be sharing a room. We will also have a fire pit, hot tub, and full kitchen. We’ll be able to shoot all over the property whenever inspiration hits!
